Inequity Agents of Change Logo Design & Branding
Logo design for Inequity Agents of Change
Branding for a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Dedicated to Reducing Bias and Creating Inclusion
After I worked with Dr. William T. L. Cox on materials for Join the UW Challenge, he created a nonprofit to continue bias habit-breaking trainings on a broader scale. He reached out to me again to come up with branding for the organization.
After an initial round of concepts that didn’t quite land, we regrouped to discuss what was (one of the text lockups for the name) and wasn’t working for him (none of the design elements for the mark), and focused the brandmark component of the logo on a brain or neural network - because Dr. Cox’s evidence-based training focuses on the science of how our brain’s work to help us understand and overcome biases. A couple edits later, we got a logo!
Additionally, I work with Inequity Agents of Change for their supplemental materials and other marketing items. Below is an example of a large format poster I designed to be used at speaking engagements, offering audience members a quick way to get contact details and additional information before or after the presentation.
